Top 5 Haircuts - Images from Bustle.com

Winter might be in full swing, but every chilly evening brings us closer to the warmth of spring.

The shift from these frosty days to the blossoming warmth of spring is the perfect chance to revitalize your look. At Mien Salon Spa, we invite you to get a head start on the season with a vibrant new style. Whether you're in the mood for a bold new haircut or simply some indulgent pampering, now is the ideal time to book your appointment and prepare to welcome spring with a refreshed, radiant look.

“Expect to see more volume and beautiful texture in hairstyles this season”. Danny, one of the directors at Mien Salon Spa, has been collaborating closely with our team, bringing runway-inspired looks to life. He’s noticed these trends increasingly making their way onto the salon floor, and we’re excited to help you embrace them too.

The Flirty Curtain Bang

This one’s rocking the salon floor right now - The Flirty Curtain Bang. “Two thousand twenty-four has been Sabrina Carpenter’s year, and her influence is undeniable”. Her look and fashion are propelling this signature cut forward, and everyone wants it! Dejan from Mien Salon Spa, our blow-dry master, says “curtain bangs are having a moment that’s not ending anytime soon. They frame the face beautifully and offer a sexy look without much commitment,” he explains. Dejan loves working his round brush through these layered shapes and recommends using his all-time favorite product, Aveda Invati Thickening Foam.

The Seriously Blunt Bob

The Seriously Blunt Bob. From micro mini bobs to cuts that fall between the chin and the shoulder, just about every celeb is going for a major chop right now. It’s a timeless choice. ‘I’ve been loving a blunt bob haircut,’ says Gilly. It’s one of his favorite styles to create. Gilly, new to the floor at Mien Salon Spa, has definitely found his niche! He calls it “his number five” because everyone wants it, and he loves to cut a perfectly sleek blunt bob. If you want to book with Gilly, he’s currently available for $99.

The Retro Shag

Making a comeback is a 70s-inspired shag, rocked by Jenna Ortega some years ago. Leah, our French import stylist at Mien, says, ‘Curtain bangs with lots of layering are big right now. They work great and embrace your natural texture to create that shag look.’ She recommends Aveda’s texture spray, Light Elements Defining Whip, and Air Control to finish the look.

The Long Sultry Layers

The Long Sultry Layers. So, for those who want to maintain length, you can definitely refresh your look by introducing some face-framing layers. Leah loves to bring long hair to life buy giving it movement. Without too much structure, she aims to achieve a polished but undone look.

The Bombshell Lob

The Bombshell Lob. Claire, back soon from her Euro-trip, has been influenced by this length and absolutely loves it. ‘Lobs, or long bobs, are fantastic,’ she says. ‘You maintain some length and can play around with it, letting it dance around your shoulders.’ The lob, gently layered around the face and a bit shorter in the back, offers a versatile and fun look. Claire loves it because it exudes a sexy vibe and effortless body. It’s easy to jazz up with heat styling tools, or rollers, to suit any occassion.
