Grace on Summer hair fashion..

In Melbourne as the longer hotter days quickly roll on summer is seeing the ladies swaning around in soft long frocks while most boys still insist on wearing skinny jeans. That Rock 'n' Roll image has cast a shadow over some prettier looks resulting in Melbourne's style which is so unique it's hard not to want to get involved in. It's a ‘softer' Rock feel with us girls indulging in the prettier attire which sees our head-wear softening too. As we move on from the dominant "Mod" feel from last season we're still creating strong shapes and colours in the salon however there's a definite move towards softer, prettier, fluffier do(s). At this stage is means contrast in textures. Think strong heavy fringe vs blown out shattered and softened geometric shapes.  Color's compliment and are solid in application and in vision. Bleached out blonde against black leather is still the urban cool (as is those who dare to step into the RED) however chic natural, shinny and individually complemented tones on summer skin will always impress. Well balanced hair against clear, radiant skin never goes out of style.  Don't forget about the lips either - think RED and you can't go wrong!  So come play with us at MIEN this silly season, time to mix it up or just let it down and all hang out...
